This course focuses on modeling and controlling power electronic systems in the Simulink® environment using Simscape Electrical™. Throughout this course the necessary skills to build a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) motor drive model will be covered. Important best practices such as Incremental design and continuous testing on the system components separately before attempting to build a system-level model will be elaborated. This will build confidence in the components and will help to identify and isolate issues early.
